Class Descriptions:

Intro to Babywearing (taught quarterly):

Are you a new babywearer? Are you expecting? Are you a bit overwhelmed at all the options and have no idea where to start for choosing a carrier? Have you heard a bit about babywearing safety, but never had it all explained?

This is the class for you!

Join us for an evening of babywearing education. We will be going over babywearing safety, each style of carrier with pros and cons, benefits of babywearing, and of course a Q&A period. While this will be a “classroom” setting event, there will be a time to handle/try out the carriers.

Intro to Woven Wraps:

Come learn all about wovens! We'll talk about sizes, fibers, lingo, and basic carries.

While this will be a “classroom” setting event, there will be a time to practice and play with wraps after. You may bring your own, or borrow one of ours!

Babywearing and Feeding:

Babies have tiny tummies, which means they need to be refilled often. Babywearing and feeding can be a great tool for parents and caregivers! Whether you breastfeed, bottle feed, feed with an SNS, or all of the above - this is a great way to learn a few tips and tricks to make things easier!

While this will be a “classroom” setting event, there will be a time to practice and play with carriers after. You may bring your own, or borrow one of ours!

Baby Got Back - The Basics of Backwearing:

Wondering how to wear baby on your back or when your baby will be ready for it? Backwearing can open up a whole new world of possibilities, but it can also be scary when you first begin! We want you to feel prepared and safe!

In this class we will discuss:

  • Backwearing readiness
  • Backwearing in different carrier styles
  • Monitoring baby on your back

While this will be a “classroom” setting event, there will be a time to practice and play with carriers after. You may bring your own, or borrow one of ours!

Buckle Up, Baby!

Soft Structured Carriers, also commonly referred to as buckle carriers, are some of the most popular carriers on the market today. But there are so many styles, and everyone seems to love something different. What gives? What are the differences?

In this class, we will review some of the most popular buckle style carriers, and the small details that make them unique. We’ll also talk about how that translates to what carriers fit great on different bodies!
